Dear Friends...
![]() This unique tour will take you off 'the beaten path', going where the big tour boats can't go, into the real backwaters of the Ten Thousand Islands. You can delight in the labyrinth of the mangroves, which hold a myriad of animal life in addition to mangrove mysteries both fable and fact. You will hear stories about the early settlers and see where and how they lived. Walk the lovely beaches where the majestic sea turtles lay their eggs amid an array of tall sea-oats. You can search for the elusive starfish, the bright coquina shells or the burrowing horseshoe crab. This delightful journey will rejuvenate the essence of life here in magnificent SW Florida. Every once in awhile, we need to pull ourselves away from our daily routine or the planned itinerary and just treat ourselves to a small adventure.
Best Wishes, Captain Marney Reed P.S. The 3 to 3 1/2 hour trip can include visits to Fakahatchee Island, Panther, Whitehorse and/or Tiger Key, all dependent of course, on the tide, wind, moon, and time of year. Trips can be personalized to include Chokoloskee Island, Everglades City, Goodland, or Marco Island.
